Maddie-ism's

Maddie strolls her baby into the kitchen.

"Oh Maddie! Did you have a baby?"

"Yes, her name is Abby."

"That's a beautiful name."

"Yeah, you spell it A-L-N-O."

"Well, that doesn't spell Abby. That spells Alno."

"Oh. Well her name is Alno."

"That's a very unique name."

"Yeah. People at church didn't like it. But the policemen did."

Uncle Shane let Maddie join him while he played Xbox. When Maddie messed up she would say "lame" with much disdain.

I gave Maddie a popsicle, but when I handed it to her she almost dropped it; jostling it back and forth between her hands until she gained control of it. She laughed and said, "Well. That was dramatic."
